Villa Gran Sogno is located in the heart of Chianti, just a 5 minute drive outside the medieval village of Castellina in Chianti. Our location provides easy access to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, and many of Tuscany’s most celebrated wineries.

2. Do I need a rental car?

Yes, we highly recommend renting a car to fully enjoy Tuscany. While we can arrange private transportation, having a car gives you the freedom to explore vineyards, hill towns, restaurants, and scenic countryside roads at your own pace. There are no Ubers or Taxi’s in the area.

3. How far is Villa Gran Sogno from Florence?

Villa Gran Sogno is approximately one hour from Florence by car, making it an ideal base for both countryside relaxation and day trips into the city. You can easily take the bus or train from Poggi Bonso, 20 minutes away.

4. How far is Villa Gran Sogno from Siena?

We are approximately 25 minutes from Siena, making it easy to visit the historic center, the Duomo, and the famous Piazza del Campo.

5. Is breakfast included?

A Tuscan breakfast is served daily and includes fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, local cheeses, coffee, tea, and seasonal specialties.

Every season offers something unique. Spring brings wildflowers and mild weather, summer offers long sunny days, fall features harvest season and wine festivals, while winter provides a quieter and more authentic local experience.

18. How many nights should we stay in Tuscany?

We generally recommend a minimum stay of four nights. However, seven nights allows guests to experience Tuscany at a slower pace while enjoying day trips, wine tastings, cooking classes, and time to relax at the villa.

Yes. We can assist with private drivers, airport transfers, train station pickups, and local transportation arrangements throughout your stay.
